A WWI medal group named to 109998 Driver Reginald Howard RFA, comprising 1914-1918 Campaign Medal, Victory Medal, 1914-15 Star and Military Medal (MM), together with a framed photograph of the soldier and accompanying documents, to include a 64th Army Brigade, Royal Field Artillery MM note, reading 'No. 109998 Driver Reginald Howard 'D' Battery, 64th Army Brigade RFA - On October 11th 1917, near Gravenstafel showed great gallantry and determination in getting his gun forward along a very bad road under intermittent shell fire. He spent 25 hours on the road during the 10th and 11th, setting a fine example to the other men, and was largely instrumental in getting all six guns into action on the 11th. No other battery in that area approached this performance', signed 'P Barton'.
