Inscriptions on the lower margin: in the center "Guerrier vago d'onor morte non teme"; on the left "Franc. Simonini inven."; to the right "Zuccarelli Sculp. Appo Wagner Venezia C.P.E.S." Print in antique frame with original glass. Fine specimen. Beautiful proof, with traces of contemporary coloring, in blue tones for the horses and in orange tones for the fortifications in the background. Scene derived from Francesco Simonini, the famous eighteenth-century "battaglista" who renewed the genre.
