This is probably the most important two panel wall map of South America produced in the 18th century. Largely based upon the earlier D'Anville map, this map depicts the continent in full with an inset of the Falkland Islands. A very ornate cartouche includes a native American, bird, alligator, monkey, treasures, waterfalls, fauna and a landscape. Very detailed map with many names of place and a table in the bottom regarding the various countries and their trades in the continent.
