Liberation of Mussolini. Le Duce a eté libéré par des parachutistes allemands. Poster measuring 60x48 cm. Slight marginal lacks. Poster of the collaborationist press that reproduces the special notice issued by the Führer's headquarters to inform of the liberation of Mussolini on September 12, 1943 by the German paratroopers of the 2nd Fallschirmjäger-Division. Only a few days after the unconditional surrender of Italy at the behest of Badoglio on September 8, 1943, Hitler ordered paratrooper General Kurt Student to organize a mission to liberate the Duce so as not to risk him falling into Allied hands. The success of the enterprise is emphasized in the manifesto and the failure of having deprived Badoglio of the possibility of handing the Duce over to the Allies is reiterated ("ainsi se trouve dejoué le plan de Badoglio qui voulant livrer Mussolini aux Anglo-Americains").
