ANSELMO MIGUEL NIETO Valladolid 1881-Madrid 1964 Departure from a music hall in Paris. 1903 Oil on canvas Signed and dated in Paris Measurements 72 x 54 cm In 1903 Anselmo Miguel Nieto made a stay in Paris where he was influenced by the scenes of Parisian life by the Barcelona native Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa. Returning to Spain, he presented two works at the National Fine Arts Exhibition of that year, for Exit from a Music Hall in Paris he was awarded the third medal.
