Lieu Nguyen Huong Duong (b. 1975) "Undergrove" Acrylic on canvas Dimensions: H: 250; W: 150 cm Born in Vietnam, Lieu Nguyen Huong Duong graduated from the University of Fine Arts in Ho Chi Minh City, where he began teaching in 2001. Lieu Nguyen Huong Duong's technique is characterized by letting the paint fall onto the canvas. Known as "dripping", this technique was invented by Max Ernst and popularized by Jackson Pollock. The many layers of paint, applied with precision, create landscapes inspired by Impressionism and Pointillism.
