Ambiens. A people of Belgian Gaul who occupied both banks of the Somme (Samara). Their
territory corresponds to the present-day Somme department. Their neighbors included the Calètes, Morins, Atrébates
Atrébates and Bellovaques. Their main oppidum was Samarobriva (near Amiens).
