Very rare "Peacock" lamp in patinated molded-pressed white glass with bronze frame.
Created in 1910, catalogued in 1928, discontinued in 1932, and not used again after 1947.

This was the first lamp designed and made by René Lalique, and very few copies of this historic work were produced. It can be found at the Musée Lalique in Wingen-sur-Moder, the Hakone Lalique Museum, the Kitazawa Museum of Art in Suwa-city and the Gulbenkian Collection.
