An Officer's Cross of the Order of the Legion of Honor in gold, enameled, eagle's head hallmark, with ribbon; diameter 40.5 mm, gross weight 25.7 g and a Colonial Medal model 1893, in silver, ribbon with silver bar marked: "COCHINCHINE", medal and bar hallmarked with boar's head; gross weight 23.45 g. - Third Republic period. Very good condition. PROVENANCE: Alfred DUCHAUSSOY, a photograph showing him in commander's uniform, wearing these two decorations.
