OMEGA CK 700 AD Second World War aviator's wristwatch in staybrite steel on leather. CASE: round in polished steel, double fluted bezel, double snap back (dust cover) and screw-down back numbered 8'223'082. Rotating bezel with time-of-flight slider. Large fluted spherical winder fixed on a long stem to facilitate winding the watch while wearing gloves. DIAL: black (repainted), thick Arabic numeral hour markers and luminescent hands (re-lacquered), railway track, small seconds. MOVEMENT: mechanical, cal. 35.5 S, N° 5'816'763 (1921). BRACELET: leather aviator strap, steel pin buckle, attached. Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 41 mm. The 35.5 caliber was created in 1918 and produced until 1931, when it met with great success, before being replaced by the 37.5. It should be noted that the movement was produced much earlier than the watch, which dates back to the early 1930s. CONDITION REPORT: Used micro-scratches, movement wear, dial repainted and relined. The movement works at the time of catalog writing, but cannot be guaranteed. Neither can individual components, as repairs or restorations may have resulted in the replacement of some original parts.
