Two-piece hot-molded helmet in fine black patent leather, with all fittings in silver-plated copper.
Front plate depicting a large oval shield with a fleur-de-lys in the center, topped by the royal crown and framed on either side by a palm, an oak branch and a laurel branch.
Back band embossed with oak branches.
Leather visor encircled by a folded rush straddling the outer edge.
Leather neck cover.
Chinstraps: leather chinstraps sheathed in black velvet covered with a series of silver-plated brass scales.
Square-section tubular plumet holder.
Crest with two fins, embossed with a series of gadroons decreasing towards the rear, separated by acanthus leaves.
