Yvonne JEAN-HAFFEN (1895-1993) & Louis DELACHENAL (1897-1966) Suite of four plates from the Brittany fountain service Polychrome glazed earthenware Manufacture Riviere - Letort, Saint-Méen-Le-Grand, circa 1960 - Saint-Roch in Quistinic - Loc-Malo near Guemene-sur-Scorff - St Philibert à Moëlan - The Calvary at Vraie-Croix Each signed and located on reverse Chipped edges on reverse of each plate Diameter of each 24 cm Hand-painted by Yvonne Jean-Haffen, these rare plates were designed by Louis Delachenal, Workshop Director at the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres. His friendship with Mathurin Méheut led him to join the Rivière-Letort factory in Saint-Méen-Le-Grand in 1942.
