in openwork brass, inlaid with copper and silver, dome-shaped, decorated with calligraphy and historiated scenes. Circular base with seven cylindrical receptacles for glass tubes.
Three chain holes in the lower part of the dome and one at the top.
Syria or Egypt, late 19th c.
