Since 2008, Cartier has been revisiting its archives and watchmaking heritage through the exclusive "Cartier Collection Privée Paris" line. Each year, the brand launches a re-edition of a model with a powerful design, updating a timepiece that has often lain dormant for several years.
In 2022, Cartier brings back the Tank Asymétrique, a watch as sober as it is eccentric. Initially launched in 1936 and renamed "Tank Oblique" in the 1960s, the Tank Asymétrique is also nicknamed "Tank Losange" by lovers of its unconventional shape. This contemporary reissue, available in platinum, yellow gold and red gold, was produced in only 100 pieces for each series.
This ultra-confidential collection, which celebrates the inventiveness of Cartier's designers, is today one of the most sought-after lines among collectors.
Equipped with a hand-wound movement, this model is being presented for the first time on the second market. Never worn, this watch is in perfect condition.
