Elegant drapery necklace in 850 thousandth platinum, decorated with 5 claw-set rectangular emeralds with stepped cut sides, set on a 750 thousandth yellow gold bezel. It is entirely set with brilliant-cut diamonds, enhanced by scrolls punctuated with baguette-cut diamonds and small foliate motifs. It features an invisible ratchet clasp with safety catch. French export work circa 1950, probably for the American market. Weight of emeralds: approx. 14 cts overall. (chips, slight lack of material) Diamond weight: 38 cts approx. overall.
