WINE CARAFEE in gilt silver (925) and cut crystal. LONDON, John Wilmin FIGG, circa 1865 (lettered K). The pan-shaped body rests on a carved circular foot. It is engraved with a semiset of stars. The frame is adorned with protruding mascarons in amatite cartouches with fruit branches. The lid is adorned with fruit and topped by a lion-shaped grip holding a shield. The curved handle ends in scrolls and is attached to the body by a hoop. Decorated with beaded friezes. Height 26 cm - Gross weight: 1110 g.
