Set of two handwritten pieces:
- Autograph letter signed, addressed on a Thursday evening to her "dear children", giving them a rendezvous on Saturday from 3 to 6. "Je n'ai plus d'autre tems. I love you."
One page in-8, in brown ink.
- Autograph manuscript "Les bords de la Creuse", forming part of an article on the landscapes on the banks of the Creuse and on the village of Gargilesse, published in the Magasin pittoresque of February 28, 1858. The manuscript is written in blue ink, with numerous erasures and corrections.
"Throughout the Middle Ages, the history of the feudal manors on the banks of the Creuse offers nothing more than a series of small wars from neighbor to neighbor, and one could say from cousin to cousin. It does not appear that these turbulent hobereaux often took sides in the great civil wars that ravaged France... After feudalism, these old fortresses took sides in".
