In-8, (16)-832 pp. including a supplement paginated 825 to 832, garnet-red morocco, smooth spine cloisonné and ornate, gilt geometric frieze framing the boards with the gilt "S" monogram in the center on a shield with oak branches and stars, to which is affixed a cross of the Legion of Honor, gilt roulette decorating the spines and bands, gilt edges; spines, headpieces and corners a little rubbed (period binding). Copper-engraved imperial coat of arms on title.
