Naval officer's flintlock pistol.
Round barrel, grooved with thunder, ribbons, damascus, gray. Lock signed "Duche à Tulle" and round-bodied swan-neck hammer. Oval iron basin. Carved brass fittings. Brass pommel carved with a dogfish head. Counter plate chased with foliage. Varnished walnut stock. Fanon ramrod with brass tip.
B.E. Circa 1790-1800 (two slight cracks to the front of the butt).
Length: 25 cm. Caliber : 15 mm.
Duche à Tulle or Ducher (probably the same), platinum controller at the Manufacture de Tulle in 1792.
