Blackened wood checkered handle with baguette and oval brass medallion. Crosspiece with two straight quillons ending in three-lobed motifs, chain-guard. Anchor body knot. Engraved, gilded and one-third reblued blade with flattened middle. Later scabbard with two brass fittings.
