Fine sculpture in half-round.
In soft wood, carved with a medallion featuring the Emperor's profile on an important trophy of arms on a box marked "NAPOLEONE I IMPERATOR, RE" supported by two lions, surmounting the Lombard crown and the Legion of Honor.
The whole on a coat of arms held by an imperial crown held by two eagles.
Signed C.SORBI IN.
Framed under glass. Cream lacquered wood frame with SORBI label on back.
Remains of inscription "Giva Sorbi na ..." under the box and dated (probably 1813).
