Important grand-croix plaque from the IInd Republic period, once belonging to Marshal Dode de la Brunerie.
Five-branched double star in silver, worked to a diamond point, with tricolor flags in enameled gold (one of the motifs is missing). Silver center, with legend "BONAPARTE PREMIER CONSUL HONNEUR ET PATRIE" and profile of Bonaparte head to right in gold. Vermeil reverse with rocking clasp and two hooks.
