Porcelain tea service decorated after engravings by Dominique Vivant-Denon with bust portraits of artists printed in black in nankin medallions on a gray background, including a Pestum teapot with raised handle decorated with portraits of Albert Durer and Rembrandt van Ryn, a Pestum sugar pot decorated with portraits of Luca Giordano and Salvator Rosa, a Greek milk jug decorated with a portrait of Guiseppe Bonito, twelve litron cups and twelve saucers, decorated with portraits of Francesco Albano, Michel Agnolo Amerighi (Caravaggio), Michel Agnolo Buonarotti (Michaelangelo), Annibal Caracci, Ludovico Caracci, Franco Mazzuoli (Parmigianino), Jacopo da Ponte (Bassano), Jacopo Robusti, P. P. Rubens, Diego Velasquez, Caliari Paolo Veronese, Domenico Zampieri Domenichino).
All the pieces (with the exception of the milk jug) bear the red-printed mark M. Imple de Sèvres, 8 for 1808. Those decorated with portraits have the initials V.D. printed on the reverse for Vivant Denon. The milk jug, which was replaced a little later, bears interlaced L's printed in blue surrounding Sèvres and a fleur-de-lis, a W painted in red, and m 11 in gilding.

The handle of the milk jug restored, one cup (Velasquez) with a broken and glued piece, another (Veronese) with a crack, some wear.
