Circular mahogany table, the circular top in white marble with a gallery, resting on a belt decorated with palmettes and stars, supported by a shank base painted in a faux bronze patinated antique green with a triangular plinth inlaid with marble; (accidents and missing parts). Consulat period, in the Jacob frères style. H : 76 cm, D : 78 cm This type of base can be found as early as the end of the 18th century by cabinetmaker Bernard Molitor, and of course more widely by Jacob-Frères, right up to the early years of the 19th century.
