the circular top in white marble with a gallery, resting on a belt decorated with palmettes and stars, supported by a shank base painted in a faux bronze patinated antique green with a triangular plinth inlaid with marble; (accidents and missing parts).
Consulat period, in the Jacob frères style.

This type of base can be found as early as the end of the 18th century by cabinetmaker Bernard Molitor, and of course more widely by Jacob-Frères, right up to the early years of the 19th century.
