Herman BAERT (1941)
Suite of twenty original drawings
1973. In-4°, [46] f., 24 blank, full margins, soft black cowhide-covered boards, pleated and modeled with cross-strap imitating female anatomy, slipcase.
(wear to slipcase)
Free suite of 20 signed watercolor and grease pencil drawings. Executed in September and October 1973 by Belgian artist Herman Baert. Untitled, it is preceded by an epigraph by Tennyson and another by Alain Bosquet: "Le monde n'est réel que si je le dérange" ("The world is only real if I disturb it"). The decoration on the first board of the cartonnage was probably made by the artist.
