CHINA - 18th century : VASE in blue-white and copper-red porcelain, the globular body decorated with chilong, bats, flowers and foliate scrolls, the shoulder and lower part decorated with friezes of ruyi and petals, the cylindrical neck decorated with archaizing banana leaves and dragons, two heads of fantastical animals flaqué on either side of the neck forming the handles ; the upper part of the neck restored, star-shaped cracks at the base, base pierced for electricity, glaze shrinkage H: 46 cm (without mount) Condition report: Small breaks restored (reglued) associated with few small teeth to the mouth rim, another tooth to the mouth rim; a large star crack to the base and the base pierced; crawlings to the body as visible; slight surface scratches in some places; the vase glued on the bronze mounting
