An Indo-Persian engraved brass celestial globe, of typical spherical form, the globe engraved with markings, figures and astrological symbols, inscriptions in naskh throughout, engraved with pictorial representations of the constellations, the ecliptic and celestial equator divided in degrees and minutes, with tropical and polar circles, with brass axis mounted on a horizon circle and stand, the four slender tapering columns uniting the horizon circle and cruciform stand,
With stand 26 cm. high, without stand globe 18 cm diam.
