A FINE JADE-HILTED RAM'S-HEADED DAGGER (KHANJAR), MUGHAL INDIA 19TH/20TH CENTURY
The tapering watered steel single-edged blade with gold damascened chappe and cusped cartouches issuing down each side of the blade and filled with scrolling vine, the jade hilt with slightly flattened spine terminating in a fine and realistically rendered ram's head with features elegantly carved.
