Amalric Walter was a French ceramist and glassmaker who became known primarily for his art glass "Pâte de verre". This is the result of a glass created by a technique in which the ground glass is converted into paste and modeled as a glass or a figure, and then trace the design by carving. Glass created by this method was known in ancient times and revived in France in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
