PARIS - XVIIIth CENTURY
Rectangular enameled porcelain box decorated with reserves showing animated scenes in a wooded landscape with factories. The reserves are framed by a raised gold fillet with attributes and knots. The whole is set against a background of pink squares. The inside of the lid features a riverbank scene with boats in pink monochrome.
The silver mounting bears a silverwork discharge mark, a scallop shell for the years 1756-1762.

Cracks, scratches, traces of gold wear and crazing, used condition.
