Le Corbusier (1887/1965) Pierre JEANNERET. Teak bench. Solid teak and woven cane bench. Rectangular wicker seat, resting on two asymmetrical "compass"-style side legs linked by a brace at the top under the seat. Circa 1955-56. Dimensions: Height: 46 cm. Length : 136 cm. Depth : 46cm. (+/-).
Provenance : "M.L.A. Hostel" (hotel for civil servants), and "M.L.A. Flat" (residence for civil servants) in Chandigarh, sectors 3 and 4.
