These are suites of 10 to 20 engravings on wood or linoleum, produced in a very small number of copies (maximum 16) using the lost-plate etching technique. Many of them deal with places steeped in legend (the "Huelgoat forest" suite) or visited by artists who celebrated nature in Brittany (l'Aven, the Devil's Rocks, the Crozon peninsula). They resonate as a tribute to the famous engravers who summed up nature by drawing inspiration from Japanese formal language.
