Two important medals:
a) Triangular bronze medal (7x7 cm), obverse: eagle spreads its wings, "Commemorative Medal Louisiana Purchase Expo"; reverse: two deities playing with sails and flags..." Universal Exposition St Louis, US of America, 1904". In the corners, the initials of Napoleon 1st, Jefferson and the fleur-de-lis are intertwined. A centenarian allusion to the treaty ceding Louisiana to the United States of North America;
b) Small gold medal (and pierced, average condition, diam :3,2) "Souvenir official, Louisiana Purchase, Exposition, St Louis 1904, 1808, rev Louisiana Territory, 100 000 square miles, 15 millions...". Commemoration of the historic sale, more evocative than the previous one.
A modern creation is included.
