Four sets, including the extremely rare program:
a) "Olympic Games Marathon Race, 24 july 1908, starting from Windsor Castle (East Terrace)...." Three pence. 16 pages, 22x14. With list of starters and bib numbers, 19 for Dorando, the real winner, 26 for Hayes...The first marathon with the true Olympic distance of 42km195, although...Traces of damp. A nice advert for Schweppes.
b) 4 images, including one of Olympia 1936, and three cpa, a view of the Stadium, a photo card of Dorando's dramatic finish, a photo card of an English runner;
c) One color from "La Domenica del Corriere" of August 2-9, 1908, with color drawing of Dorando in the streets of London, making his way through a huge crowd, by A.Beltramme, from a photo by Fiorilli;
d) program cover, high jump, the great stadium, Shepherd's Busch, London, by Judson and Kearns. 17X11.5, used condition, framed.
