Two pieces:
a) participant or commemorative medal, round, bronze (diam: 5.5 cm). Obverse: two athletes with torches; reverse: the goddess Nike on the marathon tower and stadium, by J.C.Wieneke;
b) silver-plated bronze plaque, taken from Vannier's plaque for the 1906 Games, obverse: the victor with shield, reverse: victory and the Acropolis, Gift of the Minister of War, to Maurice Faille, 1928.
