Wooden stick (with protections) used by one of the Indian Olympic champions of these 1936 Games (91 cm, 5, then 3.5cm). With 10 film-protected player signatures on the handle.
Two photos are attached, one of the final, which saw this Indian team pulverize the Germans in the final by 8 to 1, and another of the winners posing with their sticks on their feet. The 4th-placed French team (narrowly beaten 4-3 by the Netherlands) included Grimonprez, Sortorius and the dreaded Tola Vologe.
