L'Absolutisme dévoilé, ou révélation et réfutation des abus au moyen desquels l'ancienne noblesse et le haut clergé ont toujours asservi ou tenter d'asservir les peuples et notamment depuis la Restauration. Paris, Delaunay, 1831. 2 works in one volume, in-8, fawn half-calf, spine decorated, marbled edges (Binding of the period). First edition of these historical scenes illustrating the Three Glorious Days. Each of the three days begins with its own title. At the head of the volume is bound the folded bookshop poster, decorated with a lithograph by Loyet, 1830. The second work, published under the name of J. B. Perdrix, cocher, masks the name of Abbé Toussaint Jacques Mayneau, a native of Béziers.
