François-Adolphe GRISON (1845-1914). Girl sitting at the top of a staircase. Oil on canvas signed lower right. 40.5 x 29 cm. François-Adolphe GRISON studied with Justin Lequien in Paris. In 1868, he moved to Geneva. From 1873, he exhibited in Paris at the Salon des artistes français, becoming a member in 1883. He received an honorable mention in 1885 and a third-class medal in 1890.
