Jean-Marie MARTIN (1922-2012). Jesus in the Garden of Olives, January 1948. Oil on paper, fresco project signed, titled and dated with annotation "taches de couleurs, ... esquisse". 30 x 33 cm. Jean-Marie Martin studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Rennes in Mathurin Méheut's studio, then at the Beaux-Arts de Paris. He collaborates with André EVEN on frescoes for the church in Concarneau and retires to Haute Provence.
