Silver (800 thousandths) and yellow gold (750 thousandths) "star" brooch set with old-cut diamonds, one of which is larger at approx. 0.55 carat, and 6 totalling approx. 1.20 carats. The branches are adorned with tulips and set with graduated rose-cut diamonds. Transformation screw-thread brooch system. Numbered 18184. Eagle head hallmarks. Late 19th century. Oxidation and stones with chips and a few bumps. A small metal element for the brooch hinge system. Diameter: 43mm. PB : 15.4g The star can be worn as a brooch, a bracelet, a bodice front, a headdress ornament or even a tiara, thanks to the ingenious screw-thread system that makes it easy to dismantle.
