IAIA ERMANNO PIERO Film illustration for the film "Taras Bulba." 1962. Tempera on paper. Cm 50x70. Work by one of the great painters of Italian cinema. Author of the illustrations for cult films such as Mario Monicelli's 'The Great War' (1959) or Bernardo Bertolucci's 'The Conformist' (1970), which were also "painted" by Piero Ermanno Iaia, a film painter who narrated one of the greatest seasons of Italian cinema (but not only: his is also the Italian poster for Alfred Hitchcock's 'Psycho').
