Jules Cheret Jules Chéret Pan, 1897 Original color lithograph on fine wove paper Signed in the plate by the artist, also bearing the publisher's stamp Size 39.5 x 29 cm The lithograph is authenticated by the dry stamp of the publisher, L'Imprimerie Chaix. The first edition was created in 1896 for the satirical newspaper "Pan". The lithograph was published by Les Maîtres de l'Affiche in Imprimerie Chaix in 1897. It was part of the "Les Maîtres de l'Affiche" portfolio, which featured reproductions of the finest illustrated posters by the great artists of the time.
