Sculpture in natural wood depicting the Virgin and Child, her head tilted slightly to the left, wearing a crown from which long locks of wavy hair emerge. She is dressed in a long cloak and a wide dress with broken pleats, hanging under her right arm. The infant Jesus, dressed in a robe, rests on her left arm and holds in his hand a globe, called the Orb, symbolizing the world. Late 15th century. Height: 77 cm (parts of the crown and the head of the infant Jesus are missing. Parts refinished and traces of woodworm. Expert : Guy DELMAS.
