Le Prélude à l'Après-midi d'un faune, subtitled Églogue pour orchestre after Stéphane Mallarmé, is a symphonic work by Claude Debussy, composed between 1892 and 1894.
The most famous adaptation under the name L'Après-midi d'un faune, in 1912, was by Vaslav Nijinsky, with Serge de Diaghilev's Ballets Russes. His choreography of this Prelude revolutionized dance practice.
