Note: Provenance of the book published in an edition of 45 numbered copies. Both poet and publisher, Pierre-André Benoît drew inspiration for his poem from the painter's etching. The painter had experimented with celluloid engraving, a kind of drypoint or burin on a soft but fragile material.
