Rectangular beauty set in grooved silver 800 ‰, the lid adorned with a pierced plate in pink gold 750 ‰ decorated with a swallow flying among chased flowers and foliage, some pistils set with cabochon round rubies.
Dark mirror interior opening with two flaps, including two compartments - one for powder and one for blush - a lipstick case, a gadrooned tube containing a mini cigarette smoker and a small blonde tortoiseshell comb.
Gilded metal clasp.
Signed "BOUCHERON PARIS".
French work, diamond and square hallmarks by Atelier HELLUIN ET MATTLINGER. Silver hallmarks (boar) and mixed gold and silver hallmarks (eagle and boar).
