CHINA, 19th century Canton enamel on copper plate, decorated in famille rose polychrome with a lively scene of a woman and two men in a landscape, in a central medallion surrounded by floral scrolls on a yellow background. Mounted as an inkwell by the addition of a bronze frame encircling the plate and carrying, on two branches, a yellow enamel bowl decorated with flowers, forming an inkwell. On the base of the plate, the old label of the Arts d'autrefois gallery, 90 rue du Bac (Paris). (Cup and bronze mounting later) Plate diameter: 15 cm Inkwell diameter: 7 cm 4 enameled copper trapezoidal cups are included. China, late 19th century. L : 13 cm. Accidents (metal parts detached from the plate).
