Circular porcelain dish, the blue-enameled interior depicting the legend of the herdsman (Niulang) and the celestial weaver (Zhinü) among stylized birds and clouds. The outer reverse is decorated in famille rose enamels with children on a wooded terrace. Apocryphal Qianlong mark on the base.
