Emil Schumacher (Hagen 1912 - 1999 Ibiza), "Genesis - Das 1. Book of the Pentateuch: From the Creation of the World to the Tower of Babel", 1998/99, complete series of 18 color serigraphs with terragraph technique on Vélin d'Arches, each print signed in pencil and numbered "XV/XX" (the total edition was only 100 copies signed only in the imprint, Arabic numbered copies and 20 Roman numbered artist's copies, each signed per sheet), each print accompanied by a page of text in Hebrew and German, printed by Har-El Printers & Publishers, Jaffa 1999, 40 x 40 cm (unfolded: 40 x 80 cm), ochre canvas box with dark blue title print, in original wooden box, overall size: 46 x 46 cm, shortly before his death Schumacher occupied himself with the first book of the Old Testament, he created relief-like graphics on acetate printing foils, for which the artist primarily chose the colors black, blue and beige, the colors were specially produced for the print, impeccable and as new copy of the rare edition with the prints signed throughout.
