Prussian, artillery officer's sabre M 1889 so-called. "lion's head", curved blade with fullers on both sides and pommel point, maker's mark (illegible) on the obverse side under the guard, crowned military-fiscal stamp "W 88" on the back of the blade, richly decorated gilt brass hilt with lion's head (crossed paws without glass eyes), gilded brass hilt with lion's head (crossed paws without glass eyes), grip with ray skin and simple wire wrapping, square quillons, crossed cannon barrels on the obverse side, troop stamp "2.G.A.19" and two acceptance marks on the bottom, matching-numbered scabbard with two ring straps and a movable suspension ring, blade l: 84.5 cm, total l: 102 cm (with scabbard).
